2. Website access and technical operation
When you access this website, technically necessary connection data are processed, particularly the IP address, time of the request and the requested resource and, where relevant, technical information about your browser, operating system and HTTP response status. This information is needed to deliver the pages and maintain a secure and reliable service. Access and error logs may be processed to investigate faults or defend against attacks when necessary.
Purposes: Delivery of the website, troubleshooting, stability and information security.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and reliable website operation).
Hosting service provider: conova communications GmbH, Karolingerstraße 36a, 5020 Salzburg, Austria.
Data are processed only for the necessary technical purposes and, insofar as logs are created, retained for as long as required for operational and security purposes or to deal with specific incidents. Retention and deletion routines configured for the hosting service apply. According to written information from conova, both access logs and error logs are retained for 14 days each and are then automatically deleted. Logs related to sending email and correspondence received in our email inbox are subject to separate retention rules (see Section 3).
3. Contact enquiries
If you contact us by email, we process your sender and contact information and the contents of your message to handle and respond to your enquiry. This website does not currently offer a contact form.
Purpose: Responding to enquiries and, where relevant, initiating or performing a business relationship. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where steps prior to entering into a contract or contractual performance are involved; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
Email correspondence is handled by the email services involved. The website itself does not send email via a form or PHP mail handler and does not store form submissions.
Conova has confirmed a four-day retention period for technical outgoing-mail logs relating to the web host's local mail server. The listed log data are sender, recipient, web-hosting user, receiving mail server and that server's status code. The current static website does not trigger such PHP mail sending. Technical logs for actual mailbox email correspondence must be distinguished from this; no separate binding retention periods have been confirmed for mailbox-related logs or possible mailbox backups.
Ordinary contact enquiries and related correspondence are generally kept only for as long as still necessary after the enquiry has been dealt with, and in any event for no longer than six months after the enquiry is closed. We perform a deletion review at least once per month and arrange deletions so that the six-month maximum is not exceeded between reviews. Longer retention applies only where required by law or where records are needed as evidence of specific business transactions or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. In these exceptional cases, retention and deletion follow the relevant purpose and applicable periods. The four-day retention of technical outgoing-mail logs and the 14-day retention of each of the access and error logs are separate and do not determine how long received correspondence remains in an inbox. If technical backups of email mailboxes exist, they may follow separate deletion cycles; conova has not yet confirmed specific retention periods for such mailbox backups.
4. Cookies, fonts, analytics and embedded services
Under the intended technical configuration this website uses no analytics or advertising trackers, newsletter systems, remotely hosted fonts or embedded social-media content. Newsreader and Manrope fonts are hosted locally. A tracking-cookie consent banner is not planned unless technologies requiring consent are added.
Essential JavaScript is used primarily for navigation and subtle display effects. No user accounts or cloud backend are planned.
5. Links to external websites
The website contains links to external offers, including book listings and the owner's separate project websites. If you choose to follow a link, the destination website is opened and its own privacy information applies. Ordinary text links do not themselves embed that third-party service in this website.
6. Abuse protection and spam prevention
This currently static website does not provide a contact form or server-side form processing. Accordingly, it does not process form-related challenges, rate-limiting data or temporary form-protection files. Technical website-hosting safeguards and the retention of access and error logs are described in Section 2. Email communication and its technical processing are covered in Section 3.
7. Recipients and transfers
Where necessary for hosting, technical provision or email communication, personal data are processed by the relevant service providers. A data processing agreement is in place with conova for the hosting service. According to conova, no further sub-processors are used for the relevant hosting product; this statement does not automatically cover email services outside that hosting product or receiving mail servers. This website does not plan additional transfers for advertising or profiling. Without evidence of the specific technical arrangements, no blanket assertion is made that all data remain exclusively within the EEA.
8. Your rights
Where the statutory conditions are met, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), portability (Article 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it with future effect.
To exercise your rights, please contact info@die-seele-der-gesundheit.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, Austria, www.dsb.gv.at.
9. Automated decision-making
This website does not carry out automated individual decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
